Shtyrkov gives his prediction on potential fight of Chimaev and Burns

Russian mixed fighter Ivan Shtyrkov shared his opinion for a possible fight of UFC welterweight prospect Khamzat Chimaev and the former contender for the title in this weight Gilbert Burns.

“I think that Chimaev will win after all. It seems that this is his time, and, in principle, Burns has nothing to oppose against Chimaev in order to defeat him. But the fight should turn out to be interesting! I base myself on what I see. Chimaev is really good, and not because his opponents were weak. In general, I think, Chimaev, an early victory," Shtyrkov said.

On October 30 at UFC 267, Chimayev defeated Lee Jingliang with a choke hold in the first round. Burns fought his last fight on July 10 at UFC 264, defeating Stephen Thompson by unanimous decision.
