Warrington v Martinez for IBF title in March

19 or 26 March IBF Featherweight Champion Kiko Martinez (43-10-2, 30 KOs) will fight Josh Warrington (30-1-1, 7 KOs) at an evening in Leeds. Negotiations on this matter have already started.

The 35-year-old Spaniard unexpectedly knocked out Kid Galahad in November, taking away the belt of the International Boxing Federation. In September, Warrington had a rematch with Mauricio Lara, but the fight ended in a technical draw after the Mexican was injured and unable to continue the fight.

The March fight was a rematch of their 2017 fight. Warrington beat the Spaniard on points, and the bet in this fight was the belt of the international champion WBC.
