“Only Usyk can defeat Fury. And only Fury can defeat Usyk," considers David allen (19-5-2, 16 KOs), who has helped spar both fighters in the past. The same Allen has long called Fury and Usyk the best in the heavyweight division.
Former sparring partner predicted victories of Tyson Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) over Deontay Wilder and Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) over Chisora and Joshua. In his opinion, these two look the strongest against the general background.
“Fury's fight with Usyk would probably be the best fight since Muhammad Ali's confrontation with Joe Fraser. It will be a great fight, really great. One of the greatest in the history of heavyweight boxing and professional boxing in general,” Allen added.
“In many ways, Usyk reminds me of Fury. He is eccentric and remains his own master. He trains in underpants all the time, just like Fury. They are in many ways similar, although Usyk's training is completely different from the training of the others. Until now, I was convinced that Fury is the best heavyweight boxer, but I see that he has a strong rival in the person of Usyk,” said Allen, who was in the Ukrainian camp almost a year and a half ago.
