Former World Middleweight Champion at Matchroom Boxing in London on 12 February Daniel Jacobs (37-3, 30 KOs) will fight John Ryder (30-5, 17 KOs). Officially, this fight will be confirmed shortly.

The American hasn't entered the ring since November last year, when his contract with Matchroom Boxing expired. In recent months, Jacobs has been named as a possible opponent for Joe Smith Jr. in the fight for the light heavyweight championship, but this duel never took place.

The Briton had only one fight this year. Ryder has had several major fights since his defeat to Callum Smith two years ago.
