Frank Warren, in an interview with talkSPORT, assured that he will not require a rematch clause in contracts for the fight of Tyson Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) and Dillian Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs).
The fight with Whyte should become a mandatory defense of the WBC heavyweight belt for the "Gypsy King", and in the case of a mandatory defense, rematch is usually not a question, but Warren's British rival Eddie Hearn recently got into the "habit" of trying to protect his charges in the event failures even in such situations. Promoter Fury claims he has no intention of using such a "lifeline."
Warren said he would like the Fury-White fight to take place in mid-March. The most likely location is Cardiff Stadium.
