“I think I know exactly why Lomachenko did it. I've already talked about how gorgeous, special, magical and smart in the ring he is. In other areas, Lomachenko is also smart.

"This is an entertainment business. Why is this done? To attract attention, to get publicity, for the purpose of PR. This is done with the hope of making more money, because more people will know who you are. Lomachenko understands this, despite the fact that he is already a world champion in three weight categories. In addition to good fights, Lomachenko attracts attention as a showman. He does it not because of beautiful outfits, but in this way.

"Lomachenko realizes that he was the first number of pound-for-pound, but lost to Lopez, and he needs to return. He knew that in a fight with Commee there would come a moment when he would have to become a showman, a moment to say that the great Lomachenko had returned without talking about it at a press conference or in front of the microphone, because this is not his style,” said Teddy Atlas on The Fight with Teddy Atlas podcast.

Last weekend Lomachenko defeated Commey by unanimous decision.
