Gervonta Davis (26-0, 24 KOs) announced that he intends to continue boxing in the lightweight division and has left the WBA super lightweight regular belt vacant. A few months ago, the World Boxing Association notified the American that he must give up two of his titles.

In the summer, "Tank" owned WBA belts in three weight categories. First, he gave up the 130 title, and now he gave up the belt in the category up to 140 pounds.

Davis defeated Isaac Cruz on points in his last pro ring performance. The American, who earned a million dollars for this performance, was forced to go the full distance for the second time in his career.
