Jones believes McGregor can become champion again

Former dominant UFC light heavyweight champion John jones expressed confidence that Conor McGregor are able to regain the title in the lightweight division.

On Twitter, a fan asked Jones if the Irishman would be able to return to a high level and become champion again after a severe leg injury.

“With the right team, of course. You can't discount someone like him. With his energy in the right direction, this guy can move mountains, ”Jones replied.

Recall that on July 11, McGregor lost to Dustin Poirier by technical knockout, breaking his leg in the first round.
