Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs) broke the silence and confirmed that he was not going to say goodbye to boxing after his October defeat at the hands Tyson Fury. The Bronze Bomber is currently recovering from an arm injury but plans to return to the ring next spring.

“I have great success. I didn’t beat Fury, but I think I managed to achieve something more from this fight, besides just winning. I'm not going to make excuses, we are moving forward. This is just the beginning. The best is yet to come," said the former heavyweight champion.

“I still love boxing. I still have goals that I want to achieve. I injured my arm, now I need to treat it, and then return to my place,” added the former WBC champion.

It is possible that next year Wilder will fight Andy Ruiz Jr. The 36-year-old American hasn't won in the ring for over two years.
