Russian mixed fighter Alexander Emelianenko reacted to harsh criticism from Alexandr Shlemenko.

Recall that last weekend, Emelianenko lost by a choke hold to Marcio Santos at the AMC Fight Nights 106 tournament.

- Shlemenko immediately after your fight said that you need to drink less, and then announced his unwillingness to fight with you, because there are other sporting ambitions that he wants to realize. What can you answer to this?

- Alexander, like a bunch of other clowns, can only make statements on the Internet. All the heroes are on the pages of the press. And when it comes to a real fight, he has some other ambitions and fights. For some reason it immediately starts to move out. In the nose it is necessary to dig deeper into it, scratch it.

- Would you like to fight him?

- I will not fight with him, I will beat him. In the standing position he is inferior to me, in the ground he cannot wrestle at all. Doesn't functionally work. Shlemenko's time has already passed. They made him an offer, Ren TV wanted to organize a fight with me. For some reason, he suggested that I lose weight to 84 kilograms and fight in this category. But this is unrealistic, so there will be no such fight.

Previously, there were two weight categories: up to 93 kilograms and above them. Fighters from both categories often moved to a different weight. Now they were inventing weights to save athletes like Shlemenko.
