Sensational victory over Teofimo Lopez (16-1, 12 KOs) did George Kamposos (20-0, 10 KOs) one of the main figures in nearby weight categories in professional boxing. Everyone is, of course, interested in the question of what the Australian with four lightweight championship belts will do now.

The most likely scenario for Kambosos is a WBC title fight on December 4 between Devin Haney (26-0, 15 KOs) and Joseph Diaz (32-1-1, 15 KOs). Fights with the extremely popular Ryan Garcia (21-0, 18 KOs) and Gervonta Davis (25-0, 24 KOs) are also possible.

“We have many potential options. In all fairness, all of the major players in the second featherweight, lightweight and super lightweight are looking at Kambosos right now. He is now also the king of Australia and the number 1 athlete in this country. We have many alternatives,” said the promoter of the new champion Lou DiBella.
