Fulton defeats Figueroa in unification battle

In an action-packed reunification bantamweight bout, undefeated WBO champion Stephen Fulton Jr. (20-0, 8 KOs) defeated previously undefeated WBC Champion Brandon Figueroa (22-1-1, 17 KOs) in the main bout of the evening. at MGM Park in Las Vegas.

Throughout the fight, both boxers went to constant exchanges of punches without stopping. Figueroa looked more active, throwing 1,060 hits per battle, and Fulton more accurate, reaching the target with 37% of the thrown hits. As a result, the judges rated the meeting 114-114 and 116-112 twice in favor of Fulton.
