Top Russian lightweight UFC Islam Makhachev will fight an American Beneil Dariusz February 26 in the main event of the Fight Night series tournament. EPSN informs about it with reference to the sources in the promotion.

30-year-old Makhachev (21-1) is on a winning streak of nine fights. The Russian spent his last fight on October 30, defeating Dan Hooker with a painful hold already in the third minute of the battle.

Dariusz, 32 (21-4-1), is on a seven-win streak. The Iranian native hasn't made an appearance in the Octagon since May when he beat Tony Ferguson by unanimous decision.
