McGregor's coach offers Chimaev a fight with his fighter

The head coach of the Straight Blast Gym, John Kavanagh, said he would like to see his ward Gunnar Nelson fight against Khamzat Chimaev at the UFC in London next March.

“It was very interesting to watch the rise of the incredibly talented and charismatic Khamzat Chimaev. The UFC is coming to London in March and as a fan I would love to see him face off against Gunnar Nelson. Both are not far from London. What do you guys think?” Kavanagh tweeted.

33-year-old Nelson has not appeared in the Octagon since September 2019, when he lost by unanimous decision to Gilbert Burns.
