Poirier: "I am ready to shed blood in the fight with Oliveira"

Dustin Poirier, the former interim UFC lightweight champion, has spoken out about the upcoming confrontation with reigning champion Charles Oliveira.

“My goal is to see who is really willing to shed more blood. I know that I am ready for this. This guy is very dangerous. He has so much experience in the UFC. And I'm not going to put it aside. It will be a big fight. In this confrontation, we use all the experience that we have gained over the course of our career," Poirier said.

The confrontation between Poirier and Oliveira will take place on December 11 as part of the 269th UFC tournament.
