On December 2, in New York, spectators will have an interesting fight between two undefeated heavyweights. At the evening at the Hammerstein Ballroom by the Triller project, an American Cassius Chaney (21-0, 14 KOs) will face the Dominican of Bronx George Arias (16-0, 7 KOs).
Baltimore's 34-year-old Chaney, who has played well in university basketball in the past, defeated Shondell Winters on points in his last bout in August. His opponent, 29-year-old Arias, a short heavyweight (183 cm tall) with a small reach (185 cm) for this weight category, last appeared in the ring in February this year, when he defeated Joel Caudle on points. On December 2, viewers will be able to learn more about the capabilities of Chaney and Arias, who, in fact, have not yet been seriously tested in the pro ring.
In addition to the Cheney vs. Arias fight, the evening in New York will also feature four more heavyweight fights: Trey Lippe vs. Mike Balogun, Andrey Fedosov vs. Junior Wright, Jerry Forrest vs. Joe Jones, and Hanna Gabriel vs. Daniel Perkins, title fight WBC champions. There may also be a fight between Michael Hunter and Mark De Maury this evening, but this fight has not yet been officially confirmed, and even his rumors have caused a flurry of criticism towards Hunter, as 39-year-old De Maury has never defeated any really serious opponents.
