Frank Warren said in an interview with talkSPORT that he is open to negotiations on organizing a fight for the WBC belt between Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 22 KOs) and Dillian Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs), but on condition that the "Body Thief" lowers its financial needs.
Currently, Whyte's team, which is the mandatory contender for the championship belt, is trying to get the WBC to change the proposed split of the winning bid in a possible championship tender, which is now 80-20 in favor of Fury.
“Whyte may face Fury as a voluntary defense, but not for what he thinks he deserves. It will be up to the WBC to decide, but we won't mind,” Warren said.
