Popular and respected sports journalist Max Kellerman shares his take on the rematch of Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) with Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs), which, most likely, awaits us in the first half of next year. The Ukrainian toppled the Briton from the heavyweight throne in September, and now AJ is considering a change of coach, and it is on this aspect that Kellerman is focusing.

“If Joshua accepted the recently received offer to train with Tyson Fury and Javan Hill (Fury's coach - ed.), I would bet on Joshua in rematch with Usyk. However, cooperation with the King of the Gypsies would put AJ in the role of a student and weaken the sense of their possible confrontation in the ring,” said Kellerman.

“What are Joshua’s chances for a rematch without Fury’s help? A.J. is a big, damn strong guy, he has a really good boxing base, he fights very well. Fury has some of the greatest victories, but the depth of achievement is on Joshua's side. He defeated the strongest fighters. Revenge shouldn't be a fencing match for A.J., it won't work with Usyk. He tricks and counterattacks opponents, he is an extremely advanced boxer. To defeat him, Joshua must show his advantage in strength and his energy, attack the corps and take risks," added Kellerman.

“Who is the best professional boxing coach? Perhaps Eddie Reinoso, Saul Alvarez's coach, is one of those. The boxing world is kind of waiting for Joshua to start working with Reinoso. They can reach a higher level than we have seen so far with Anthony,” summed up the charismatic expert.
