A friend of U. Nurmagomedov on the details of the incident with a run over a policeman

Kamal Idrisov, a friend of Bellator fighter Usman Nurmagomedov, prepared a complaint against the actions of lawyer Alexander Karabanov and spoke about the details of the incident near Makhachkala airport on November 11.

“An independent analysis of the video footage posted on social media shows that the vehicle I drive comes to a stop when it arrives at the checkpoint, rather than“ rushing by, knocking down fences and knocking down a police officer, ”as society sees it. As can be seen from the recording, the movement of the car continued after a short conversation with a police officer in a reflective vest, whose hand gesture towards the direction of the movement of cars I took as permission to go further, as a result of which I began to go around the car standing in front of me. The video also shows that at the same moment, on the left side of the road, from the driver's side, another police officer, also dressed in reflective clothing, approaches the barrier and distracts my attention for a split second.

At the same moment, as can be seen in the video, an armed Rosguard officer without a reflective vest, standing on the side of the road, violating the established requirements of traffic rules and job descriptions, abruptly ran into the traffic lane, after which he jumped abruptly onto the right side of the hood, the car actually passing by him and rolled to the ground.

It should be noted here that the duties of this employee include only ensuring the safety of the activities of his colleagues, and not transport control. The second police officer, dressed in reflective clothing, stepped forward sharply behind the car, thereby blocking my view, as a result of which I could not fully see any consequences from a small, tangential collision in the rear-view mirror of my car, the side windows of which are darkened police officer with a car.

I want to clarify that all my actions indicated were dictated only by the fact that less than 45 minutes remained before the departure of the flight to which I was in a hurry. This, of course, does not justify my actions, but at that moment, being in a hurry, I did not realize the severity of what had happened, which, in principle, is confirmed by my further actions, in particular, the fact that my friend and I calmly drove towards the airport, passed check-in and boarded the plane on the route to Moscow, and did not disappear into the deserted area around the airport, trying to cover up their tracks. Obviously, not a single person who committed a crime would have thought of flying to Moscow, going through passport control.

At the same time, even before the departure from the airport of Makhachkala, I called my acquaintances, with a request to drive up to the indicated police post and apologize. At my request, at about 13:30, when we were already in the air, my friends drove up to this post, apologized on my behalf, explained my actions in a rush to the flight and offered compensation for material and moral damage if necessary. The victim turned out to be a completely adequate person, thanked him for arriving with apologies and explanations, refused monetary compensation, joking that now the guys, at the next meeting, owe him autographs.

These circumstances are easily verified, including by video recordings from this police post, which I hope the investigation will do. All this is described in detail by me only for the purpose of forming a real picture of what happened, and qualifications for these actions will be given already based on the results of the investigation.

Unreasonable, in my opinion, the actions of an employee of the Russian Guard, who, in violation of the established rules, ran into the traffic lane without reflective clothing, after which he hit the side of the vehicle, which was in motion not in the direction of the victim, did not allow A.L. Karabanov. qualify my actions as the use of violence against a representative of the authorities!" reads the text of the message.
