Bookmakers name the favorite of Usman-Chimaev fight

Khamzat Chimaev and Kamaru Usman

UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman has opened as a slight favorite for a potential bout against the division's rising star Khamzat Chimaev.

So, according to Best Fight Odds, the odds on Usman win is 1.5. Chimaev's possible success is estimated at 2.7.

Usman will have his title defense against Colby Covington on October 6 at UFC 268 in New York.

As for Chimaev, he defeated China's Li Jingliang at UFC 267 in Abu Dhabi last weekend. The victory was the fourth straight for the Chechen with the Swedish passport in the biggest promotion.
