Lomachenko vs Commey is official for December 11 in New York

The Vasyl Lomachenko (15-2, 11 KOs) fight with Richard Commey (30-3, 27 KOs) on December 11 in New York City at Madison Square Garden Arena has been officially confirmed. The fight will take place on ESPN as part of the lightweight division in which both boxers have held world titles in the past.

The Ukrainian returned to the ring in June after last year's loss to Teofimo Lopez. The 33-year-old defeated Japan's Masayoshi Nakatani early in a one-sided bout.

The 34-year-old Commey last fought in February. The Ghanaian boxer returned to the ring after more than a year hiatus and won by knockout over Jackson Marinz.
