Herring and Stevenson make weight

WBO super featherweight champion Jamel Herring (23-2, 11 KOs) and his title challenger Rio Olympic medalist Shakur Stevenson (16-0, 8 KOs) were officially weighed in on the eve of their fight this coming Saturday, October 23 in Atlanta, Georgia. Both fighters met their weight limit without any problems on their first attempt. Herring weighed in at 129¾, while Stevenson weighed in at 130 pounds.

In a face off after the weigh-in, which lasted almost a minute, Stevenson tried to pull the championship belt from Herring's shoulder, but was soon separated by the guards.
