Ankalaev refuses to change weight category

UFC welterweight Magomed Ankalaev said he has no plans to change his weight class just yet.

"Am I thinking of moving up to heavyweight? Maybe. But right now I'm not thinking about going down or up a category. My goal for now is to win the belt here. Then when I achieve it, I'll think about going down to middleweight or moving up to heavyweight. Has the division benefited from the departure of Jon Jones? Who knows, Jones is in trouble right now, maybe he'll come back to our weight later too. When I get to the title fight, maybe he'll come back. Would you like to fight Jones? I sure would. It's a big fight for me. I have as many fights in the UFC as he has defended the title. So yeah, of course it's interesting," Ankalaev said.
