American heavyweight Timothy Johnson shared his expectations for his bout with legendary Russian Fedor Emelianenko on October 23 at Bellator 269 show in Moscow.

"My team is joking that if I don't win by points or knockout I may not come out the winner of this fight. I probably won't be able to win by decision of the judges in Russia. I'm killing two birds with one stone with this fight: since childhood, the only country I wanted to visit was Russia, and now I'm being paid to go to Russia to fight.

Defeating Fedor makes me the main contender for the title. I am by no means looking behind Fedor's back, but you have to have a serious plan in case you win. Maybe then Cheick Kongo and I will have a third fight, and the winner will fight the strongest in a Bader-Moldavsky pair. Or maybe we'll do a rematch with Minakov in February," Johnson said.
