A big wave of criticism hit Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs) for not shaking hands with Tyson Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) after Saturday's fight for the WBC heavyweight belt. The American, embittered by the defeat, not only failed to congratulate his winner, but responded to words of praise from the Brit for his brave performance by saying, "I don't respect you."

The Bronze Bomber's manager Shelley Finkel justified his boxer's behaviour by a severe emotional turmoil.

"I talked to him about it, and he really respects Fury. I think he was just having second thoughts at the time. In my opinion, if Deontay had met Tyson now, he would have congratulated him warmly," Finkel told The Sun.
