George Lockhart, the nutritionist who works with WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs), contributed significantly to Saturday's big win for Fury in his third fight against Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs). Here are Lockart's thoughts on the fight and the "Gypsy King" training camp.

"It was a crazy fight, it already looked like we had Wilder on a tray in the third round, then Wilder sent Tyson to the floor and if Tyson didn't know how to take it all out, he would have been knocked out. Wilder is obviously a very strong fighter and has a big heart, but after Tyson's last action, he just couldn't get up. It was impossible," Lockhart stated.

"Tyson doesn't stop training, he loves it, training helps him stay mentally healthy. I think his love for training is what made him the best ever. However, there were problems during training camp, including a coronavirus. But in the end, we were finally able to get the situation under control. What was Tyson's form in the third fight? He fought eleven rounds at a terrific pace. The physical form was phenomenal. Once again, Tyson's trainer Javan Hill wanted "The Gypsy King" to be heavier than before, and the impact of that weight on the fight was noticeable. When I saw Wilder heavier than usual, I thought he would be exhausted after the third round, but the new weight helped him. Especially against Tyson. Fury's intelligence in the ring prevailed. Regardless of the boxer's form, he was exhausted at the end of a fight like this. Only Tyson can go forward despite the odds. He has an exceptional mentality," the specialist added.
