More than 15,000 fans are expected to gather at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas today for Tyson Fury's (30-0-1, 21 KOs) third fight against Deontay Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs). Ticket sales for one of this year's most exciting events will exceed $10 million.
The venue in the gambling capital of the world can accommodate more than 18,000 fans, but at boxing events, its full sell-out means slightly less capacity of the hall. So the number of spectators watching the fight live will be about the same as the rematch that took place a year and a half ago at the smaller MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Back then, ticket sales were $17 million, but tickets were more expensive. The night itself will be shown on Pay-Per-View in the U.S. on ESPN and FOX in a co-broadcast.
