Lomachenko and Commey agree to fight on December 11

Vasyl Lomachenko (15-2, 11 KOs) and Richard Commey (30-3, 27 KOs) came to an agreement and agreed on terms for the fight, which will be the main event of the Top Rank night scheduled for December 11 in New York at Madison Square Garden. Negotiations on this fight lasted for several months.

The Ukrainian returned to the ring in June after last year's loss to Teofimo Lopez. The 33-year-old stopped Japan's Masayoshi Nakatani in a one-sided bout.

A rematch between Lopez and Lomachenko is scheduled for next year. However, it is unknown if the American will try his hand at heavier weight classes.
