Petr Yan addresses to his fans

Former UFC lightweight champion Petr Yan addressed the fans ahead of his fight for the interim belt with Corey Sandhagen.

"I want to say a huge thank you to my fans from Russia and around the world in general for their support. Feeling, seeing, reading. I won't let you down," Yan said in a video posted on the UFC Russia Instagram page.

Yan vs. Sandhanen fight will take place on Oct. 30 at UFC 267 in Abu Dhabi.

Yan was originally scheduled to rematch against reigning champion Aljamain Sterling at the upcoming tournament, but the American dropped out due to injury.
