Legendary Russian mixed style fighter Fedor Emelianenko admitted that he is upset with the current state of affairs in Russia.

- In 2010, answering questions from fans, you said: "For some reason, people are drawn not to the best, but to all the imaginary joys of life, which is even scary to list. It is simply impossible to sleep at night as drunken youths are shouting under the windows. Sport in the country is collapsing, as is education, medicine and the army. Eleven years have passed. Any progress, in your opinion?

- Only if in the other direction. Everything is getting worse somehow.

- Why?

- Of course, we create our own environment, but looking at the big picture - it's the drugs that became available. That didn't exist before. I no longer live in Stary Oskol, where I had to "listen to music" day after day, but I don't think it's gone anywhere.

- Obviously this topic bothers you.

- And how can it not bother you? I'm a Russian man, a Russian, how can it not bother me?
