Legendary Russian mixed martial arts fighter Fedor Emelianenko commented on the words of his brother who previously stated his desire to fight him

- About Alexander and his sensational statement that he is ready to fight you. What were you thinking when you saw the news with his words?

- (pause) Alexander got lost... Lost. I'm sorry to hear about what's happening to Alexander, but, you know... It seems that though the man says: "Believe in God", he lives without God.

- Was his statement a surprise to you?

- Considering his words and actions lately - no.

- Would you be willing to fight Alexander?

- You know, our fight would never have happened. It could never happen in principle and it never will. I think it's silly to elaborate on that.

Emelianenko will fight American Timothy Johnson on October 23 at Bellator 269 tournament in Moscow.
