"Usyk did a historic deed," praises his compatriot Wladimir Klitschko, the great heavyweight champion, commenting on Saturday's victory of Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KO) over Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KO), sending him into athletic retirement.

"Alexander has remained undefeated for so long... He's won all the heavyweight belts and is now the world heavyweight champion. He's a special guy who has done historic things," declared one of the longest-running world champions in history.

"I once lost two fights in one year, then came back to the throne and became one of the longest reigning champions in heavyweight history. Joshua still has plenty of time, I don't doubt him, he just needs to take the challenge," the 45-year-old Klitschko said.
