Kambosos wants IBF to strip Triller of the right to stage his fight against Lopez

Promoter organization Triller Fight Club is considering another date change for a four belt lightweight bout between Teofimo Lopez (16-0, 12 KO) and George Kambosos (19-0, 1 KO). The WBA, WBO, IBF and WBC "franchise" titles will be at stake in their meeting.

It was recently announced that the fight will take place on Monday, October 4, in New York, but now Triller is considering moving the evening to Saturday, October 16, with the Aussie's team disagreeing with the new date.

The bout has already been postponed several times. It was originally scheduled for early June. For Teofimo Lopez, the fight with Cambosos will be his first since beating Vasyl Lomachenko in October 2020. Kambosos will enter the ring as IBF mandatory challenger.
