The manager of top Russian UFC lightweight Islam Makhachev Ali Abdel-Aziz revealed who his client could face in his next fight.
"I talked to Abdel-Aleiz, who confirmed that Islam Makhachev needs a new opponent at UFC 267. The UFC is working on it at the moment, but he personally believes Tony Ferguson and Dan Hooker are the only two realistic options at the moment in terms of rankings and readiness," journalist John Morgan tweeted.
Makhachev's opponent was originally scheduled to be Rafael Dos Anjos, but the Brazilian withdrew from the fight due to knee problems.
