Former cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev shared his expectations of the upcoming fight between WBO, WBA and IBF heavyweight titleholder Anthony Joshua and mandatory WBO title challenger Oleksandr Usyk.

"The outcome of the fight will be standard. The first round Usyk will move, keep his punches to himself, occasionally score points. Joshua will naturally try to keep the advantage for himself. You just can't unequivocally give anyone an advantage here. As long as Oleksandr Usyk moves in his manner, as he likes and knows how to do, as long as it is difficult to hit him, he will win. And once Sasha slows down, Joshua will start hitting and it will end in Joshua's favor.

"If Usyk is ready for this fight for 20 rounds, and for some reason I'm sure he is, success will be on his side. It's pointless to second-guess because it's a heavyweight. I think with Joshua's power, getting hit in any part of his body hurts. And two hits, that's a kill. Anything can happen, it's boxing, not chess," Lebedev said.

The fight Joshua vs Usyk will take place on the night of September 25 at Tottenham Hotspur Arena in London.
