150,000 pay-per-view broadcasts at $49.99 were sold out on Saturday night's Triller Fight Club in Hollywood. The main event of the night was a duel between nearly 59-year-old Evander Holyfield and former UFC bantamweight champion Vitor Belfort.
The bout ended with Belfort winning in the first round. Holyfield decided to fight as a replacement for Oscar De La Hoya, who was hospitalized due to a coronavirus infection.
Saturday night had many organizational problems. It was moved from California to Florida a few days before the event itself, and only then did ticket sales begin. According to American journalist Dan Raphael, the organizers lost a lot of money on the Hollywood event, and the PPV revenues didn't even cover the purses of the participants who performed at it.
