McGregor's representative Karen Kessler issued a statement regarding the incident: "Conor did not ask for a picture. He's not to blame for what happened. He doesn't know Machine Gun Kelly, except for the fact that he attended his fight in July."
McGregor lost by technical knockout to Dustin Poirier on July 11, breaking his leg in the first round.
