Renowned Russian MMA fighter Alexander Emelianenko named the amount Sergei Kharitonov requested for the fight with him.
"Now Kharitonov is fighting somewhere, but he's become slow, no good. Recently he lost in Bellator - they choked him. I offered him a fight a long time ago. Even Kamil Gadzhiev offered him a fight. He made a poster: "Emelianenko - Kharitonov: 10 million [rubles] each". He asked for half a million dollars. Gadzhiev says: "Kharitonov, you have never received such money abroad. In the whole history of fights you earned less than you want to get for the fight with Emelianenko". Everyone realized that he was leaking the fight, overstating the amount," the fighter stated.
