WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) unexpectedly announced that he wants to fight his compatriot Dillian Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs) the interim WBC champion in December.

"I'm going to shut that bastard's mouth, it's going to be an easy fight. Of course, it will come down to this fight, I will cover him with punches and make him bleed," promised "The Gypsy King," who will fight Deontay Wilder for the third time in Las Vegas on October 9. If Fury wins, the goal for next year is to fight IBF, WBA and WBO champion Anthony Joshua, of course, if he defeats Alexander Usyk on September 25. However, before a possible Fury vs. Joshua fight in December, Tyson's opponent should be Whyte, at least today, as the unpredictable Fury states.

The next bout for Dillian Whyte, who has been exchanging verbal outbursts in the media with Fury for several years now, will be on October 30 in London. After that, Whyte is likely to push for a meeting with Fury, which he is entitled to and has been waiting for for a long time. Whyte's promoter Eddie Hearn recently said that if Fury cancels or reschedules his fight with Wilder again, he should be stripped of the belt and Whyte and Wilder should be named title contenders.
