The former Bellator middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko will have his next fight against Artur Guseinov on October 17 in Sochi, Russia. The owner of Eagle FC promotion and former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov announced.

The 37-year-old Shlemenko (60-13) last fought in May, defeating Marcio Santos by unanimous decision at AMC Fight Nights 101.
Guseisenov (26-10), who is the same age as his closest opponent, also faced the aforementioned Santos in his last fight - their fight ended in a draw on August 22.
