Much of "Road to Glory" is excerpts from a 12-round workout of Wilder and his trainer Malik Scott. "Let me reintroduce myself," a tagline ostensibly pointing to new elements in the Bronze Bomber boxing. "Creativity is key" is another slogan voiced by Wilder and Scott.
The video shows Wilder, among other things, practicing body punches - both straights and hooks at mid-range. "Respect has to be earned, it's not given to anyone in advance," "I was in a dark place" and "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus" are other cryptic slogans voiced by the former champion.
Fury's first fight against Wilder took place in December 2018. After a dramatic bout, a draw was declared, and in a rematch in February 2020, the Briton dethroned the American with a convincing victory. Wilder then accused Fury of cheating and conspiracy. It allegedly involved trainer Mark Breland, with whom Wilder parted ways with a nasty scandal. Wilder then waited several months for an arbitration decision on the third fight, which ultimately turned out to be favorable for the American.
Scheduled for July 24, Fury's third fight against Wilder was postponed at the last minute to a specified October date because the Briton claimed to have contracted a coronavirus. "King Gypsy" has returned to training and promises another dominant win, while Wilder predicts his boxing transformation and return to the throne, burning with a desire for revenge.
