Monson may fight A. Emelianenko

American mixed martial arts veteran Jeff Monson has confirmed that he plans to fight in the Russian Hardcore MMA league. His opponent could be Alexander Emelianenko.

"Yes, I will fight in the Hardcore MMA league - most likely this December. So far, we're looking at dates this month.

As for the opponent, there is an option to fight Alexander Emelianenko, but no decision has been made yet. At least I can say for sure that my opponent won't be Oleg Taktarov - we are friends, and the duel of glances was held as part of the show, as entertainment. I won't have a fight with him," said the 50-year-old Monson.
