Emelianenko decided to become a certified gardener

Legendary mixed martial arts fighter Fedor Emelianenko decided to major in horticulture at Voronezh State University (VSAU). The athlete personally applied in late August.

Emelianenko chose to major in horticulture at the Faculty of Agronomy, Agrochemistry and Ecology, as an extramural department. Since the fighter already has a degree, his USE results were not required for admission to the university - he will have to pass the entrance exams in September. Admission lists will appear at the end of September.

Emelianenko, 44, will next fight against American Timothy Johnson on October 23 at the Bellator tournament in Moscow.
