In the co-main event of the evening in Leeds, a rematch between Josh Warrington (30-1-1, 7 KOs) and Mauricio Lara (23-2-1, 16 KOs) ended in a technical draw when the Mexican suffered a serious brow injury in the second round after an unintended head-on collision and was unable to continue the bout.
In Leeds, another professional win was scored by Conor Benn (19-0, 12 KOs), who won by unanimous decision over Adrian Granados (21-9-3, 15 KOs). After ten rounds, the judges tallied 100-90, 99-91 and 97-93 in favor of the local boxer.
Also that night, Katie Taylor (19-0, 6 KOs) won by unanimous decision over Jennifer Hahn (18-4-1, 1 KO). The 35-year-old champion thus defended her WBA, WBO, WBC and IBF lightweight titles.
After ten rounds of one-sided fight, the judges rated the meeting 100-89 in favor of Taylor. It was the second win for the Northern Irishwoman this year.
