Sterling believes he could defeat Yan without disqualification

UFC lightweight champion Aljamain Sterling expressed confidence that he could have won his first fight against Petr Yan even without his opponent being disqualified.

"I probably would have beaten Yan in the first fight even if he hadn't been disqualified. But it would have been a very boring win. I had thought before that if I could win three rounds, I would win the fight. The last ten minutes of the fight in the rematch shouldn't be so boring. I would have beaten that guy seven, eight, nine times out of ten."
