Nunez vs Peña on December 11

The title bout in the women's flyweight division between champion Amanda Nunez and Julianna Peña will take place on December 11 at UFC 269. It was officially announced by the promotion.

Originally the meeting of these athletes was supposed to take place on August 11 at UFC 265, but a few days before the fight Nunez contracted a coronavirus. The 33-year-old Brazilian had her last fight on March 6, defeating Megan Anderson in the first round by choke hold and defending her title

Pena, 32, has not been in the Octagon since this January, when she won by choke hold over Sarah McMann.
