On September 11, former world heavyweight and super heavyweight champion David Haye (28-4, 26 KOs) will return to the ring as part of a boxing night in Los Angeles. The opponent for "Haymaker," who announced the end of his career more than three years ago, will be entrepreneur Joe Fournier (9-0, 9 KOs).
According to boxing columnist Dan Rafael, the bout will not be on the boxers' official records - it will be an exhibition bout. The bout is scheduled for eight rounds of 2 minutes each. Haye and Fournier will be fighting in 12 ounce gloves.
The main event of the evening will be a bout between former six-weight world boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya and Vitor Belfort, the former UFC featherweight champion.
