Haye vs Fournier: exhibition fight with 2-minute rounds

On September 11, former world heavyweight and super heavyweight champion David Haye (28-4, 26 KOs) will return to the ring as part of a boxing night in Los Angeles. The opponent for "Haymaker," who announced the end of his career more than three years ago, will be entrepreneur Joe Fournier (9-0, 9 KOs).

According to boxing columnist Dan Rafael, the bout will not be on the boxers' official scorecards - it will be an exhibition bout. The bout is scheduled for eight rounds of two minutes each. Haye and Fournier will be fighting in 12 ounce gloves.

The main event this evening will feature a bout between former six-weight world boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya and Vitor Belfort, the former UFC featherweight champion.
