Lopez-Kambosos on October 5

Teofimo Lopez and George Kambosos, Jr

According to Mike Coppinger, the four belt lightweight title fight of Teofimo Lopez (16-0, 12 KOs) and George Kambosos (19-0, 1 KOs) will take place on October 5 in New York City.

The duel will be televised on the Triller platform, whose representatives placed a $6 million bid for the event, "stealing" Lopez for one fight from ESPN.

For Teofimo Lopez, the fight against Kambosos will be his first fight since defeating Vasyl Lomachenko in October 2020. Kambosos will step into the ring as IBF mandatory challenger.
