The Brit admitted that the main motivation for this duel for him will be money. Haye claims that he will earn more for his performance on Triller Fight Club night than he did for his first fight against Tony Bellew in 2017. The boxing night itself will be shown in the British Isles on pay-per-view.
"There's crazy money being paid in boxing right now. What would people think of me if I turned down such an offer? They'd probably think there's something wrong with me," said Haye, noting that he's only coming out of retirement for one fight.
The main event this evening will feature a bout between former six-weight world boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya and Vitor Belfort, the former UFC light heavyweight champion. Also on the night Anderson Silva (2-1, 1 KO) will fight Tito Ortiz.
