Renowned American trainer Teddy Atlas shared his opinion on the upcoming fight between WBA/WBO/IBF world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and Alexander Usyk.
"As far as I'm concerned, Usyk knows how to win. He's a talent. A lot of people outside of our sport don't understand that. They don't understand what I mean when I say he knows how to win. But Usyk knows that. He's always won. Usyk won the Olympics, all the fights in the cruiserweight division, he collected all the titles. He has that kind of attitude, confidence and belief.
Usyk has good legs. Yes, he's smaller, and everyone is talking about it. But Holyfield wasn't too small. When he stepped up to heavyweight and faced the big guys, he wasn't too small. So it's a very interesting fight, very, very interesting," Atlas said on his podcast The Fight with Teddy Atlas.
Joshua vs Usyk will take place on September 25 in London.
